On September 7, Jiao Jian, Director and President of Sinochem Holdings, met in Beijing the visiting delegation headed by Solvay CEO Ilham Kadri and Belgian Ambassador to China Bruno Angelet. The two sides communicated with each other on cooperation in the fields of material science and life science, etc.
Jiao introduced the business segments and strategic focuses of Sinochem Holdings, saying that there is a solid foundation for cooperation between the two sides in the fields of material science and talent exchange and hoping to continue to strengthen connectivity and explore new business partnership between the two sides.
Ilham Kadri introduced the business layout and deep reform of Solvay, saying that Solvay and Sinochem Holdings are comprehensive chemical enterprises with broad space for cooperation, and hoping to focus on discussing about cooperation in the downstream of strategic emerging industrial chains.
Bruno Angelet suggested that Sinochem Holdings and relevant Belgian enterprises cooperate with each other in the fields of circular economy and hydrogen energy source.
